Technical Writer PositionOur client is looking for an outstanding technical writer for the Foundational Data Services team. As a technical writer, you will support an overhaul of internal content ecosystem, ensuring that it is built with internal AI search in mind and easily discoverable. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders on the internal content, establish audits and guardrails to ensure the content is up to date. You will ensure the content is fully accessible. Successful past delivery of developer-oriented technical documentation for a programming platform is required. Your documentation will be used by internal and external teams and internal customers. This position requires precise documentation and clear communication and presentation skills, along with a solid understanding of software engineering.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop & deliver documentation for the Foundational Data Services platformDevelop content re-use and single-sourcing strategiesHelp evaluate and select tools and technologies for the technical publications teamQualifications:4+ years in a writing or lead writing roleProven ability to work with developers and write for a developer audienceExperience working with a programming language such as Java, C#, or C++ is essentialProven experience designing documentation for software APIsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skillsPassion to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExperience with XML-based publishing systemsSome experience with web services and related technologies a plusJob Type & Location:This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $51.00/hr.
