Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or a recent graduate with the drive to obtain their EIT certification within 90 days of starting. This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to contribute to diverse land development projects and develop your skills in civil engineering design and project management.


Key Responsibilities:


Support site development engineering tasks on land development projects from concept to completion.

Design and permit civil site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering tools (e.g., hydrology modeling, storm drainage software).

Assist in project management activities, including client communication, team coordination, and technical documentation.

Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, technical specifications, and land disturbance permits.

Engage in production, project tracking, and client interactions while growing your project management skills.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.

Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) certification, or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

0-2+ years of experience in a civil engineering role, preferably in land development design.

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

High attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take initiative.
