This leader will be responsible for developing and executing an annual strategy focused on operational excellence, reducing waste, and eliminating variation within our manufacturing processes. Candidates for this position should have energy and passion to improve both our production and functional processes while leading with integrity. This position ensures that the assigned team is operating in accordance with Andersen's values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.Primary ResponsibilitiesLead a team of engineers and/or technicians to establish and maintain strategic deployment of goals and objectivesPartner with operations leadership, RD&I, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and supply chain functions to ensure that our products conform to standards and exceed our customer expectationsDrive continuous improvement, improve customer satisfaction, reduce waste, and eliminate variation in processesDrive corrective action through root cause identification and structured problem solvingEffective interpersonal skills and ability to gain alignment within cross functional teamDevelop, execute, and manage capital investment plan for quality in assigned value streamIdentify, recruit, and onboard talent as neededEstablish an environment conducive to teamwork, high morale, employee satisfaction, and performanceQualifications and SkillsMUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :4-year degree in engineering, technology, or management5-10 years of experience in quality, engineering, or area of technical support.Demonstrated knowledge of quality control systems (SPC, Process Capability)Strong commitment to be a highly collaborative servant leader in all aspects of the roleSolid coaching and people development skillsCollaborative, proactive communicator; effective both 1:1 and in groupsNICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS :Experience supervising a group of engineers and/or techniciansBackground in manufacturing preferredDemonstrated knowledge of basic corporate finance, budgeting, accountingCOMPENSATION: Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process.
