Adecco is assisting a local client in Bridgewater, NJ with finding a Cost Analyst II to perform standard to slightly complex cost accounting duties and maintain cost accounting processes and systems. If you meet the qualifications below, apply now
Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation and Budgeting
- Analyzing financial data to determine costs of business activities (review of spending, staffing, production and capital plans, and completion of the budget templates).
- Produce standard cost accounting reports (e.g. depreciation, labor, equipment reports)
- Prepare standard journal entries and participates in the annual budgeting process by assisting operations management in the completion of their budget inputs
- Conducting variance analysis and forecasting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years cost accounting experience
- Experience with SAP Athena preferred
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
