The Capture Manager is responsible for leading capture teams (including business development staff, line staff, functional staff, subject matter experts, and teammates) in pursuit of key corporate opportunities with DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) customers. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Business Development, the successful candidate will own and prosecute a pipeline of opportunities exceeding $50M demonstrating that you can align strategy with execution. If you have a natural ability to lead diverse teams, build strategic and unique solutions, and drive PWIN up, apply today.Essential Job DutiesAccountable for winning assigned opportunities.Develops, executes, and manages win strategies for corporate top opportunities, from the qualification stage through pursuit to proposal and award.Develops actionable Capture plans to track and manage key activities for all opportunities assigned.Conversant in strategic teaming and customer relationship building.Identifies new opportunities and maintains the integrity of the pipeline in the sales system.Works with line leads to creating a gap analysis across the full Statement of Work / Performance Work Statement, identifies teaming partners to close those gaps, and negotiates teaming agreements.Works with the proposal team to develop and deliver proposals that are compelling and compliant.Plans, manages, and controls capture costs and schedule, and owns the B&P budget for each opportunity.Participates in trade shows, industry days, and marketing events.Leads and leverages gate reviews, competitive analysis, solutioning, pricing and price-to-win, teaming, staffing, customer relationships, past performance selection, and opportunity shaping to maximize win probability.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Active in scope Top Secret clearance required, with the ability to gain and maintain SCI eligibility and poly.Experienced in Shipley or other industry-recognized capture methodologies.Track record of demonstrated success in DoD and IC business development and capture.Comprehensive understanding of acquisition processes and their alignment with the opportunity lifecycle.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with the NRO, NGA, NSA, DIA with government contracting or aerospace industry.Additional InformationWork Environment:Working conditions are normal for an office environment.Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.Occasional requirement to travel.Working at SOSi:All interested individuals will receive consideration and will not be discriminated against for any reason.
