Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Pharmacist at BioAccess Specialty Pharmacy located in The Woodlands area of Houston, TX: two to three days per week. Full-time opportunity a consideration after three months. The part-time Pharmacist will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care and ensuring appropriate medicine selection and dosage for patients. A full-time Pharmacist role will involve more pharmacy management duties.


Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Practice and Pharmaceutical Care skills
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy and Medicine
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Experience in a specialty pharmacy is a plus
  • Valid Pharmacist license in the state of Texas

Physical Requirements:

  • Long periods of sitting or standing.
  • Talking on the phone for extended periods of time.
  • Reading and typing on a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Light lifting of less than 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a climate-controlled, smoke-free internal environment.
  • All work is to be performed regularly at the pharmacy location. 

Pay Range

  • The typical pay range for this role is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
  • This pay range is the base hourly rate for part-time employment and dependent on a variety of factors that include experience, education and other relevant factors.
