*PROJECT OVERVIEW* As a KDB+ Developer you will work within the Regulatory Reporting Technology team to build mission critical important brokerage applications for the enterprise. You will be collaborating with the regulatory reporting business team and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications for reporting across multiple assets classes with very high levels of regulatory scrutiny. This role is passionate about hands-on development and delivery, which requires a combination of both good technical skills, and participation in architecture, design and analysis activities

*REQUIRED SKILLS* 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux and SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required. Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy are required *NICE TO HAVE* • Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python a plus) • Experience working in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate and Kafka, is preferred. *INTERVIEW SETUP* 1 round, 60 minutes - 3-4 panelists


The Role

As a KDB+ Developer you will work within the Regulatory Reporting Technology team to build mission critical important brokerage applications for the enterprise. You will be collaborating with the regulatory reporting business team and other brokerage technology teams to develop applications for reporting across multiple assets classes with very high levels of regulatory scrutiny. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar field, Masters a plus
  • 5+ years of development experience with strong knowledge of q/KDB+ programming, Python, Scripting (Shell/Perl) , Unix or Linux, SQL/Relational Databases, such as Oracle, is required
  • A deep understanding of various programming languages
  • Hands-on experience in application deployment automation and pipelines
  • Experience implementing projects as a team in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
  • Experience crafting, building, and deploying applications in a DevOps environment using CI/CD pipeline; experience with Git/Bitbucket Server (Stash), Jenkins, and uDeploy
  • Experience working with Artifactory and familiarity with API registries (e.g., Apigee)
  • Ability to learn new things, new technology, and tackle problems
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing concepts and deploying and managing applications in the Cloud (AWS S3, EC2, and CloudFormation along with Lambdas/Python) a plus
  • Experience working in Java, Spring Boot and Kafka, is a plus
  • Experience in user interface frameworks/platforms (Angular, React, etc.) a plus
