What is the opportunity?

You will participate in the technical design, development, and implementation of market data Intelligence (MDI) platform which is used for global cross asset market data analytics.

What will you do?

• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software
• Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the company
  • Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer and company concerns
• Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch
• Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace
  • Actively seek ways to improve business software processes and interactions
• Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• 5+ years Industry Experience building mission critical software applications
• Strong experience with designing scalable & highly available enterprise data platform to handle fast moving real-time queries as well as multiple year historical query.
• Ideal candidate has an aptitude for performing analytics on very large data sets, typically time series market and transaction data.
• Experience with any market data products specifically NYSE TAQ, TRTH, Bloomberg, Wombat, Exegy and Quant House.
• Strong hands on with KDB+ with at least 3+ years of recent experience.
• Good working knowledge of Linux environments, and scripting languages such as Bash, Python and Perl.
• Experience with Agile methodology and tools such as Git, Jenkins, Nexus, Jira, and Docker.
• Good communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of different trading products like equities, fx , credit, rates etc.

Nice-to-have

• Experience with database applications and working knowledge of SQL
• Working knowledge of C++/Java is desirable
• Understanding of global markets and algorithmic trading stack.
• Knowledge of Pre and Post trade analytics, machine learning and pattern recognition is advantageous.
• Understanding of build and deployment management

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $135K-$190K depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
