Mechanical has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial and industrial customers.Position OverviewThe Inventory Coordinator's responsibility is to track and maintain sufficient levels of inventory allowing the company to operate efficiently to meet customer expectations. This position will also source and order parts as required to complete service work orders and provide updates to the service team.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate, execute and conduct physical inventory countsPerform periodic quality checks to ensure inventory meets company standardsMaintaining reports and records relating to inventory needs, supply, and order/shipping statusPlace and track orders compliant with company procedures and purchase order managementRecord all estimates/purchases/shipping status for tracking and communicate with vendors to mitigate and resolve any issues or discrepanciesContinuously source alternative supply lines and current industry pricingReview and sign off on invoices after ensuring accurate pricing/purchase order accuracy and physical receipt of ordered itemsProcess any returns and reimbursements for missing and/or defective itemsReport discrepancies between physical inventory counts and company recordsOther duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED2 years' inventory management/procurement experienceProficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)Preferred QualificationsAbility to occasionally work overtimeAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentVerbal & written communication skillsAttention to detail and organizationRewarding Your PerformanceCompetitive salary, commensurate with experienceCompany paid vacation and holidaysCompany health care, vision, & dental benefits401k plan with Company matchCompany paid life insuranceEducation and training provided with monetary incentives available for education courses completedEligible for performance and company-based bonusesG.E.
