You will oversee key processes related to supplier segmentation, performance monitoring, engagement, and development. Join us for a career in IT that changes lives.Medtronic is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive culture.Supports the ongoing management of the strategic partnerships program by collaborating with the vendor management team to establish strategies, structures, and templates.Ensure consistent processes with the vendor management team and Global IT's top suppliers.Applies established governance and partnership frameworks to supplier management activities, supporting the creation and maintenance of scorecards, participating in SLA/KPI review forums, and assisting with the implementation of improvement plans based on quantitative and qualitative feedback.As a part of the VMO supplier scorecard program, builds relationships internally and externally with account teams, technology SMEs, and executive sponsors.Manages the segmentation of suppliers into tiers, ensuring the process is conducted and reviewed at a regular cadence. Maintains criteria for Global IT's investment level in strategic suppliers and partners.Coordinates Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Executive Supplier Reviews (ESRs), maintaining the master calendar, scheduling meetings, and ensuring programmatic stewardship. Supports agenda preparation, attendee management, and meeting prioritization in partnership with key stakeholders.Works with the vendor management team to maintain relationship ladders and stakeholder maps for our leading technology suppliers.Supports the execution of our annual Supplier Summit (and related events) by coordinating logistics and assisting with general event planning.Connects Medtronic's needs with partner capabilities by administering stakeholder conversations, reviewing supplier pitch books, and coordinating innovation opportunities in partnership with VMO strategic leads.Supports the tracking and execution of identified use cases that leverage new-to-Medtronic supplier capabilities in digital, AI, and automation, resulting in hard-dollar return on investment.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degreePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or business-related field.8+ years working in some combination of IT operations, procurement, vendor management, or business development; where measuring, managing, and influencing supplier behavior and outcomes was a core part of the position.6+ years working with large, strategic IT suppliers, preferably across a variety of commodity areas- i.e. Hardware, Software, Network and IT Services.Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, specifically as it relates to working with internal and external technology teams to maintain effective relationships and long-term partnerships.Ability to influence both internally and externally to create, manage, and mature a world-class supplier partnerships program.Strong organizational skills in support of time-bound scorecards, stewardship meetings, and supplier management activitiesStrong presentation skills in support of both recurring reporting and ad hoc strategy and analysis that must be communicated internally and externally.Intellectually curious and entrepreneurial always looking for new approaches to problems, and new opportunities for improvement.Optimistic and solution focused brings a positive outlook to the team, with a belief that we can always find a better, faster, cheaper way to deliver vs. the status quo.Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package. PR) locations (USD):$132,800.00 - $199,200.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.
