A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and can provide oversight of other sleep center staff.Qualifications:Required:+ Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist+ At least one year experience as a sleep technologist.Preferred:+ Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred.Certifications and Licenses Required:+ Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC (Certification by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC does NOT satisfy this qualification.)+ Maintain current CPR or BLS certification.Scheduling Requirements:+ Nights+ FTEssential Functions:+ Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation+ Respond to sleep patients procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate education utilizing sleep center specific protocols+ Adhere to sleep center policies and procedures+ .
