Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnograph Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our Sleep Lab, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts. The ideal candidate will have a current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist, and at least one year of experience as a sleep technologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine equipment care and maintenance, and inventory evaluation.
  • Respond to sleep patients' procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate education utilizing sleep center specific protocols.
  • Adhere to sleep center policies and procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain sleep study related equipment and inventory.
  • Review and evaluate sleep studies and provide appropriate feedback to staff.
  • Assist the medical director, clinical director, and/or manager in all aspects of sleep center operations.
Requirements
  • Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist.
  • At least one year of experience as a sleep technologist.
  • Certification by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM), the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT), or the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Estimated Salary: $64,000 - $76,000 per year
