*Your Purpose*

As the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey. You will lead and develop strategic digital initiatives, driving a digital first culture to enhance member experience, optimize operations and create new business value.  Collaborating with the Credit Union Executive Management Team, you will provide a strategic vision focused on digital strategy and transformation, overseeing IT operations to maximize data collection and reporting effectiveness.

  • Lead digital initiatives to enhance member experience (MX), operational efficiency, and data collection.
  • Develop and implement digital strategies aligned with our organizational goals.
  •  Research, identify, and evaluate emerging digital trends and technologies that align with the Credit Unions technology initiatives.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to continuously improve digital offerings, personalize member digital experiences and enhance organizational processes.
  • Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement digital solutions to drive business growth and increase efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Credit Union policies.

*Duties and Responsibilities*

  • Work with all business unit leaders to drive digital transformation directly through all areas of the Credit Union.
  • Enhance data collection and reporting organization-wide.
  • Measure ROI for digital strategies and initiatives.
  • Prepare, maintain, and implement IT policies ensuring compliance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the core financial processing vendor and other key vendors.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes skill development and employee engagement.
  • Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

 

*Qualifications and Experience*

  • Working knowledge of the latest digital technologies (AI, blockchain, cloud computing, RPA, data analytics).
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate business objectives into digital initiatives.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  •  Extensive knowledge of banking practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of implementing successful digital products, services, or platforms.
  • Minimum ten years of progressively responsible management experience preferably in a financial institution, with at least five years in a senior management capacity.
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Management or related field, an MBA is preferred.  A PMP Certification would be a plus
