Migration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Systems Migration Engineer to lead a migration project to Saviynt, an Oracle-based identity and access management platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the migration of our existing systems to the Saviynt platform. This role will involve assessing the current infrastructure, designing migration strategies, configuring the Saviynt environment, and overseeing the migration process to ensure minimal disruption to operations.



Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize the Saviynt platform to meet the organization's requirements.
  • Evaluate the existing systems and identify components to be migrated to Saviynt.
  • Develop migration plans and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute the migration process.
  • Perform data migration, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the process.
  • Conduct testing and validation of the migrated systems to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on using the new Saviynt platform.
  • Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Saviynt systems administration and migration projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle databases, middleware, and related technologies.
  • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions, preferably Saviynt.
  • Strong understanding of security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
