CT Technologist Job Details Location: Rochester, NY 14642 Healthcare Setting: Hospital - Level 1 Trauma Center Assignment Type: Travel CT Technologist Start Date: February 2, 2026 End Date: May 2, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday - Thursday, 9:30pm - 8:00am (4x10 hour shifts per week) Hours per Week: 40 On Call/Callback/Holidays: As needed per unit requirements Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,530 - $2,720 CT Technologist Qualifications Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) New York State CT Tech license (required prior to start) Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience in hospital or trauma center Level 1 Trauma Center experience required BLS certification (American Heart Association) Experience with Siemens CT scanners (minimum 6 months) Epic EMR experience preferred Injection certification preferred (or willingness to obtain during orientation) Knowledge of Philips and Siemens imaging equipment preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Compassionate, patient-focused attitude Collaborative team player in a healthcare environment CT Technologist Responsibilities Verify patient identity and exam details, following strict patient safety and hospital protocols Collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and clinical support Prepare and position patients for CT scans, explaining procedures for comfort and safety Insert IVs as needed for imaging procedures Safely lift or move patients with limited mobility using approved patient handling techniques Maintain accurate patient records in Epic EMR and manage images in PACS Ensure a clean, safe, and organized scanning environment Participate in on-call, callback, and holiday coverage as required Apply now to join our Rochester healthcare team as a CT Technologist and take the next step in your medical imaging career Benefits 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Equal Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
