This organization is devoted to documenting the memory of the Holocaust and educating today’s generation about the history, lessons, and legacy of the Holocaust.

The person in this role must equally be passionate about this mission.


Job Details

· Coordinate all school visits/ tours, Speakers Bureau.

· Plan Docent training for all Travelling Exhibitions and tours.

· Oversee the Annual Art & Writing Contests. Plan theme & coordinate with Tri-Counties and ensure national distribution. Oversee judging and plan Awards Ceremony.

· Coordinate Interactive Student Awareness Day (ISAD) symposiums with Middle/High School students.

· Coordinate a Meet the Author Series which highlights the author of a Holocaust-related book.

· Demonstrate ability to work with volunteers and partner with community agencies.

· Enhance on-going and create new on site and online programming in Holocaust education.


Qualifications

· Demonstrate passion for the mission of the Holocaust.

· Bachelor's degree required.

· Minimum of 2-3+ years of related experience.

· Computer literacy including MS Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point; experience with mail-merges and with customer or donor databases.

· Ability to prioritize and organize workload.

· Outstanding written and interpersonal communication skills.
