We provide residential undergraduate education to approximately 800 students. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Key Responsibilities: Maintain and oversee media production and teaching facilities in areas of film, photo, video, animation, and game design (digital labs, darkrooms, editing bays, screening rooms, sound recording areas) to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness. Manage media equipment inventory, check-out systems, and equipment repairs/maintenance in collaboration with Library Access Services. Assist faculty and students with technical support for projects and courses. Hire, train, and supervise student workers in equipment and lab support roles. Collaborate with faculty on aligning technical resources with curricular goals. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree required (media, film, photography, audio, or related field preferred). Minimum of 3 years of related experience in media production, technical coordination, facility oversight, or related work. Alternatives to formal education and paid work experience may be considered as equivalent qualifications to include military service/training, volunteering, activism, and other non-traditional programs and experiences related to the position.
