Job Title: Manufacturing Technician (Nasal Spray, Medical Device)

Location: Bull Lea Road, Lexington, KY 40511

Shifts:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM (pay differential)

Pay Rate:

  • Base: $19/hour - $20.50/hour
  • Shift Differential: Additional $1.50/hour for 2nd shift

Job Overview:

We are seeking skilled Manufacturing Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated environment, such as pharmaceuticals or food and beverage production, or dealing with sensitive explosives, etc. and will be familiar with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with CGMP regulations and company policies.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery for nasal spray medication.
  • Accurately document production data and maintain detailed records.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and sanitize work areas, ensuring a cleanroom environment is maintained.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as scrubs, hair nets, and glasses.
  • Assist in the packaging and coating of pharmaceutical products like nasal sprayers to meet specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with CGMP regulations and requirements.
  • Experience in regulated food production, beverage, or distillery environments is great.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in cleanroom environments and maintaining sanitary conditions.
  • Previous experience in roles requiring PPE and adherence to safety protocols.

Preferred Candidates:

  • No current or past employees of Kindeva. (Please note this will be the first question asked to candidates.)
  • No current employees of Piramal.
