A growing Chemical Manufacturer located in the southwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Controls Engineer.


This individual plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing systems that control equipment and machinery.


As a Controls Engineer, you will:

  • Design and Develop: Create electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Supervise Projects: Oversee projects from initial concept to installation and commissioning.
  • Research and Integrate: Identify effective control solutions based on industry standards, safety requirements, and efficiency considerations.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred, but will look at candidates with other degrees and strong electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Desired Skills: Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting or coding, NEC, Ethernet, mechanical systems, and software tools like AutoCAD.
