Finance Manager / Senior Finance ManagerPalo Alto - 4 days onsite$160-180K (up to $190K DOE) + Bonus + Profit ShareJennifer Fukumae with Robert Half's Finance and Accounting is partnering with a well-established venture capital organization with a long history of investing in innovative, high-growth companies is seeking a Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager to join its Palo Alto team. The firm partners with entrepreneurs across technology, healthcare, and emerging sectors, offering deep domain expertise and a collaborative, hands-on approach. The culture is built on excellence, innovation, and close teamwork across its investment and operations groups.About the RoleThis position sits within the firm's finance organization and supports a family of venture capital funds, as well as upper-tier entities and management companies. The ideal candidate brings strong finance and capital planning experience within a fund environment and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.The Finance Manager will also support systems improvements, process optimization, and upgrades across platforms such as Investran.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting and financial reporting for multiple entities and fundsManage valuation analysis and support portfolio metrics preparationCoordinate with fund administrators, auditors, and tax service providersSupport operational processes, controls, and capital activityContribute to system enhancements, data management initiatives, and special projectsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA (or equivalent) strongly preferred5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including at least 3 years in venture capital or private equityStrong knowledge of GAAP and partnership accountingExperience handling entity-level accounting, capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and financial statementsProven ability to support valuation workflows and interpret portfolio dataExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlinesStrong communication and leadership abilitiesExperience partnering with third-party fund administratorsWorking knowledge of Investran (reporting, data management)Background in system upgrades, automation, or integration projects is a plusFor expedited consideration or to have a conversation about other roles in, please send a message to Jennifer Fukumae on LinkedIn.Robert Half works to put you in the best position to succeed.
