Rate Range: $ 107/hr on W2 depending on experience (no C2C or 1099 or sub-contract)

MUST HAVES:​

  • 8+ years if experience as Software Engineer
  • Java/Javascript
  • AWS server-this is a very cloud centric role
  • Spring Boot

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of software engineers and subject matter experts to design, build, test, and deploy software solutions for studio workflows.
  • Work with fellow engineers to create essential services/APIs needed for diverse applications.
  • Prioritize and estimate work within an agile scrum process using user stories.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement defect fixes.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of industry experience
  • Proficient in working with REST APIs
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Java
  • Experience with Node.js
  • Experience with Spring Boot
  • Knowledge and experience using source control and CI tools such as GitLab and GitHub
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in working with UI / Web Frameworks, particularly ReactJS.
  • Expertise in working with databases, including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.
  • Knowledge of common web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, CSS, and DOM
  • Experience and proficiency in working with AWS
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Video Technologies, including video players, HLS/Dash, DRM, and video transcoding.
