Welder/ Fabricator

Mid-Atlantic Steel Fabrication is a full-service custom metal fabrication and laser cutting service provider. Our goal is to perform our work right the first time—with quality, service, and on-time delivery.


Primary accountabilities

  • Fabricate, layout, assemble and weld according to blueprints and specifications
  • Perform quality inspections while maintaining the production process so that quality output is achieved, ensuring acceptable quality is produced to fulfill the order
  • Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
  • Organize parts and prepare them for the next process
  • Expedite priority work orders as required in cooperation with the Production Supervisor
  • Account for time and work completed via online computer data collection system
  • Standard 50-hour work week, 6AM – 4:30PM

  • 2 + years’ experience in welding
  • Experience in hardwire & flux wire welding
  • Experience with TIG welding helpful

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience working with industrial machines
