Sales Manager / Business Development


This position will be responsible for securing new business and managing existing accounts throughout the entire product lifecycle and providing customer sales support. The Sales Specialist will report progress on a regular basis to support business unit reporting on an ongoing basis.


Direct Hire

Houston, TX - Hybrid M-F

$150K DOE


Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts internally and externally to maximize customer satisfaction and ensure profitability
  • Recommends product solutions which link to customer objectives. Works to differentiate SK Lubricants value proposition and establish competitive advantage
  • Assist in creating sales strategies to achieve corporate sales targets and support company vision
  • Coordinate commercial activities throughout the entire organization including Engineering, Quality improvements, Quoting, Negotiating and Reporting
  • Update all internal sales systems and be able to track and report changes to management internally Promote effective communication with customers and develop professional working relationships with all customer representatives
  • Manage economic analysis, data mining and quotation by customers and products
  • Ability to prioritize and to manage multiple, simultaneous and at times, competing deliverables
  • Technical knowledge for lubricants or chemistry


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of Experience in a position into Lubricants business (ExxonMobil, Chevron, Shell, BP, Total, Valvoline, Fuchs, Philips 66, Pennzoil, etc.,), OEM companies (GM, Ford, Stellantis, Volkswagen, Hyundai, Toyota, Daimler, etc.,) or Tier1 (Dana, AAM, JATSO, Denso, PACCAR, Allison Cummins, Meritor, etc.,), NOT OEM Distributors or retail sales shop : If hired, both managing existing customer and new business development are involved
  • Transmission, Axle, electric vehicle fluid and Shock absorber oil are preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual - Korean/English is preferred but not mandatory
