Key Responsibilities


Develop innovative solutions and models based on Large Language Models and Natural Language Processing in support of EP’s AI strategy

Contribute to research and development of current and future AI use cases

Collaborate with product owners, engineers and MLOps to develop production ready AI models aligning with EP’s product vision

Train, validate, and deploy open source models (e.g. LLAMA2, BERT, Falcon) in production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability

Collect, analyze, and preprocess large datasets to enhance performance of current and existing AI models

Conduct research and stay updated on the latest advancements in generative AI.

Prompt tune LLM’s on AWS Bedrock or GCP


Qualifications


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or relevant field

At least 1 year of experience contributing to research and development of AI models in service of practical technology solutions OR 1-2 years of research experience in a closely related area

Knowledge of basic algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming

Strong programming skills in Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch or Tensorflow

Familiarity with RAG and vector search

Strong theoretical background in machine learning/deep learning fundamentals

Proficiency training, validating and fine-tuning AI/ML models

Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases and REST API’s

Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.

Problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
