The Role

Join us at the New Hampshire Community Loan Fund as a Junior Mortgage Loan Originator and play a crucial role in helping individuals achieve their dreams of homeownership.


We have an immediate need for a Junior Mortgage Loan Originator to work closely with the Welcome Home Loan Team to increase the production of mortgage loans for manufactured homes and other single-family housing loan products.


We offer a hybrid work plan combining remote work with a location in our Concord office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Originate mortgage loans for manufactured and single-family homes.
  • Interact with borrowers to gather information and guide them through the loan application process.
  • Prepare accurate and complete loan packages.
  • Work with processors, underwriters, and closers to ensure a smooth loan approval process.
  • Maintain excellent communication with borrowers throughout the mortgage process.
  • Resolve any customer concerns effectively.

The Person

  • Two years’ experience in residential or consumer mortgage lending, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with loan amortization and loan origination software such as Byte Software.
  • NMLS license or willingness to obtain one within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Bilingual fluency a plus (Spanish preferred).
