Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive project management activities, including:
  1. Coordinate directly with the designated technical project officer and technology manager assigned for each project
  2. Organize all internal and external meetings with relation to each project.
  3. Develop project scheduling (e.g. GANNT charts) detailing all related activities.
  4. Maintain up to date project budgets.
  5. Tracking deliverables, progress against milestones (projected vs. actuals)
  6. Actively adjust project milestones and timelines to ensure overall project success.
  7. Formalizing/planning review meetings for project Go/No-Go milestones.
  8. Responsible for accurate financial tracking, billing, and on-time invoicing.
  • Communicate effectively and work fluidly within all Silfab’s departments: procurement, sales/marketing, operations, finance/accounting as well as external parties such as the DOE.
  • Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, and reviewing bids from contractors.
  • Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems.
  • Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.
  • Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
  • Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends, recommending actions.
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintains project database.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master of Science in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of Tools: experience with Smartsheet or other project management software.
  • 3-5 Years of experience in project management or construction. with backgrounds in 0…manufacturing or general contracting.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Solidwork/CAD experience.
  • PMP License
  • Project or initial warehouse setup and/or automation experience
