Overview: We are seeking a skilled Server/Computer Engineer with extensive experience in Dell server administration and support. The candidate will be part of Dell’s resident group at Buckley AFB, managing and optimizing server products and supporting networking environments. Top Secret Clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Server Administration and Support:
  • Perform Dell server administration, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide comprehensive support for Dell server products and related storage solutions.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of server systems.
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of Dell server products, storage, and networking.
  • Collaborate with the Dell team to ensure seamless integration and operation of server systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
  1. System Optimization and Troubleshooting:
  • Optimize server performance and implement best practices for system administration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Dell servers and networking.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dell technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience with Dell server administration and support.
  • Strong knowledge of Dell server products, storage solutions, and networking skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Dell EMC Proven Professional, CompTIA Server+, etc.) are a plus.
  • Top Secret Clearance with SCI or SCI eligibility is required.
