Accountants One is working with a client in the Metro Atlanta Area publicly traded looking for a very Technical Accounting Manager. They recently promoted the person in the role. This person will have the ability to work a hybrid work schedule. This is a great stable organization that likes to promote internally. Accounting Manager will handle the following: Lead preparation and analysis of complex financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, and other reporting standards Provide guidance on accounting/tax implications of business strategies and decisions Streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with SOX and regulatory requirements Partner with senior leadership on new accounting standards, automation initiatives, and major projects Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, regulators, and external advisors Mentor and develop team members while fostering collaboration across the enterprise Requirements: Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred CPA required 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Strong technical expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting Proven ability to lead change, manage multiple projects, and influence stakeholders Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills; general ledger/reporting systems experience a plus Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
