Day-To-Day:

An employer is looking for a Palo Alto Engineer to sit in Arlington, VA This person will be responsible for identifying and remediating misconfigurations, conflicting rules, security gaps, firewall, and load balancer security issues. This includes providing Tier 3 support to operations network administrators and maintaining all hardware and software components at vendor-supported levels. The position involves supporting the creation of monthly network device performance and traffic utilization reports, developing, and participating in After Action Reports (AARs), and offering expert advice on managing and operating all Palo Alto devices. The role also includes interacting with senior stakeholders to set objectives and goals based on Palo Alto Networks technologies, evaluating current technologies and processes to identify gaps, and providing requirements and strategies for future cybersecurity operations.
