Position Description: Temporary, Full-Time Administrative Assistant
Location: Augusta, GA
Purpose: This position supports both front and back-office operations including greeting guests, answering phones, handling company inquiries, and mail distribution. This position is also responsible for the routing and documentation of tax returns, audit reports and financial statements and requires attention to detail as well as strong organizational skills working under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Organize information for internal and external communication (tax returns, financial statements, client mailings, presentations, and reports)
- Compile, store, and retrieve organizational data, using computer and company databases and systems
- Preparation and documentation of responses to clients' tax notices
- Maintain and archive records and correspondence consistent with the firm's document control procedures
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements
- Arrange, schedule and organize meetings for partners and staff
- Screen and direct phone calls and distribute correspondence
- Provide any administrative assistance for the firm as requested and directed
Work Environment: Flexible schedule with possible overtime during busy season, dealing with clients and staff on a frequent basis.
Requirements:
- High School graduate or GED
- Previous experience in an office environment is preferred.
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
- Motivated team player, good work attitude, proactive in nature, and requires minimal supervision
