About the People Team

Our People team is responsible for championing all aspects of culture, performance, and the overall people experience at Pollination. We are a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds in professional services, government, start-up, and tech. Our team operates globally, with members strategically positioned in Australia, EMEA, and the US. We are a small but highly capable team of problem solvers, passionate about building and supporting Pollination's greatest asset – its people


Role Scope:

As our HR Business Partner, you will role model and uphold our company culture and values. You will support leaders, coaches, and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, building strong relationships to drive performance and engagement. This role involves hands-on HR operations management and partnering with leadership to achieve better business outcomes. As a change agent, you will help the business grow, taking ownership of the Performance Management/ER program and the policies that shape our employee experience.


Key Responsibilities:

Global Business Partnering

  • Build strategic partnerships with our leaders across the US, EMEA, and APAC regions to support organizational goals and initiatives
  • Thoughtfully manage changes to employment
  • Support key milestones across the employee lifecycle
  • Act as our US benefits expert
  • Effectively utilize and maintain our HRIS (JustWorks)
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for our employees in each region


Global Employee Relations and Performance Management

  • Provide counsel and guidance on employee matters globally
  • Enhance manager capabilities through live coaching and embedding the program into their people manager toolkit
  • Support managers and team members to meet performance expectations


Global Policy Point of Contact

  • Review and contribute to policy updates using your experience and understanding of our people
  • Support managers in effectively addressing policy breaches and queries
  • Implement policy updates and ensure they are communicated and understood globally


What We Are Looking For:

Competency & Experience:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partnering role
  • Experience managing poor performance and employee relations processes
  • Expertise in US labor standards, benefits administration, and compliance
  • Strong program management capability with experience designing, launching, and scaling people processes/programs
  • Strong facilitation skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills


Qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field


Highly Desirable:

  • Experience working in APAC or EMEA
  • Prior experience in a startup, scale-up, or professional services
