They will also be involved in client relations and managing the overall sales department that includes select interior demolition, structural demolition, abatement, etc.


Duties

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather project details

- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate estimates

- Utilize software such as HeavyBid for estimating purposes

- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for construction projects

- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing

- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process

- Visit construction sites to gather data for estimates


Requirements

- Proven experience in construction estimating

- Strong knowledge of construction management processes

- Proficiency in using estimating software like BlueBeam

- Excellent project management skills

- Ability to negotiate contracts and prices effectively

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)

- Familiarity with cost control procedures and techniques

- Detail oriented
