The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and fostering strong vendor relationships.Responsibilities:Process accounts payable invoices with meticulous attention to detail, verifying proper authorizations and accurate GL coding.Prepare and issue accounts payable checks while maintaining organized files and records.Manage month-end accruals and reconcile schedules for prepaid invoices to ensure accurate reporting.Conduct detailed reconciliations of payable reports and balance sheet accounts related to payables.Perform monthly analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure financial accuracy.Provide exceptional customer service to vendors and internal stakeholders, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally.Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and suppliers to support seamless operations.Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed to support the team.Utilize ERP systems and accounting tools to streamline invoice processing and reconciliation.Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures throughout all accounts payable activities.Requirements:Associate's degree in accounting or a related field is required.Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role is preferred.Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software is highly desirable.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Strong analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in financial processes.Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under minimal supervision.Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and team members.
