Responsibilities/Job Description:

The clinician is an advocate for quality care and an inspirational and visionary role model for the advancement of professional nursing practice across the continuum of care. Provides direct patient care for a specified population. Partners with colleagues to achieve excellence in the delivery of patient care to designated population groups. The clinician promotes nursing professional practice through education, role modeling and clinical expertise. Job Expectations:

Patient Care and Evaluation of Clinical Practice
Provides greater than 50 percent direct patient care which may include treatments, counseling, promoting self-care, patient education, or administration of medications.
