Role Description


This is a full-time hybrid role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Richmond Institute of Sexual Empowerment (RISE) located in Richmond, VA, with flexibility for remote work. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing counseling, therapy, and support to individuals and couples. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide trauma-informed evidence-based interventions to address mental health concerns and promote emotional well-being. You will collaborate regularly with the lead therapist for case consultations and have the opportunity to participate in mental health and wellness conferences to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records, adhere to ethical standards, and comply with relevant laws and regulations.


Qualifications


  • Master's degree in Social Work or a related field
  • Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of Virginia preferred; other licensed therapists considered (LPC, LMFT, PsyD); license eligible applicants considered
  • Proven experience in providing individual and couples counseling
  • Knowledge and understanding of mental health diagnoses and evidence-based treatment approaches
  • Strong knowledge in the areas of trauma and attachment theory
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
