DAY TO DAY:


Our client, a very fast growing life insurance and annuities company based out of Durham, NC is seeking a Director, Finance Systems to join their team. This role is hybrid in Durham, NC and full time. This role will support the business by maintaining the company’s Finance Systems infrastructure along with providing general project management support for Finance projects. The main focus of this position is to act as an SME on all things related to: strategy, design, and implementation of finance and accounting reporting tools, data models, and data mapping within Finance. Our client is looking for a self- starter who can come in and help drive initiatives like bringing certain functions in house, ability to oversee 7 finance systems all of which include a different amount of support/attention, and help build out the team. Communication skills are highly important, as well as the ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This person should be able to move their initiatives forward by getting buy in from the leadership. Lastly, you will manage a team of 2 people to start as well as the third party vendor for Oracle, and this role will report to the CFO and interact heavily with the CIO/IT.
