We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to join our team and play a pivotal role in our financial management and strategic planning.
Job Description: The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of financial planning, cash flow optimization, and debt management. This role is critical to ensuring the financial health and liquidity of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. They will bring accountability to work and ensure clarity of tasks and duties, contributing to our goal of delivering high-quality products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze daily cash balances to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Compile monthly and quarterly reporting, including calculating and analyzing debt covenants.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow.
- Forecast future cash needs based on budgetary and operational considerations.
- Establish new and manage existing relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Assist in due diligence and financial analysis associated with acquisition targets.
- Prepare regular reports on cash positions, forecasts, and variances.
- Ensure compliance with debt obligations and forecast potential issues.
- Monitor and manage debt and interest obligations to ensure the company’s liquidity.
- Collaborate with departments to gather information on anticipated cash flows.
- Assist in the annual audit for all testing and inquiries associated with debt or equity financing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in banking and/or accounting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
