The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing and evaluation of projects from large multilayered programs to small projects as assigned. This individual will be building and managing cross-functional project teams. They will work in tandem with Sales Account Management as well as Technical Leads to assure project/program success. Must have medical device, plastics or manufacturing experience. Must also have contract manufacturing experience, building custom products for clients in fields such as aerospace, military or electronics

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • project development from initiation to closure. May include management of R&D activities before program award.
  • Customer Relationships and Customer Teams throughout project/program.
  • with the stakeholders to outline the scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, cost tracking and timing of projects. Responsible for Budget, Reporting, and Closeout of Projects/Programs.
  • and update project schedules as projects/programs progress. Multiple methods may be used.
  • and report on project milestones and provide status reports to superiors and Project Sponsor. Report out escalation items as necessary to Directors and VP’s
  • as mediator between stakeholders and team members.
  • communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders.
  • with outside subcontractors such as tool shops, automation suppliers and other suppliers to assure compliance to timelines
  • tools and best practices for Project Management. Focus on execution and lessons learned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in an engineering discipline or applicable background.
  • years’ experience as a Project/Program Manager in a manufacturing company with a high level understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • to become a “Super User” of Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • cross functional impact and considers how project plans and project outcome impact other departments.
  • to manage complex timelines from initial production runs through production release.
  • leadership in managing team members.
  • technical and or procedural requirements and information that team members will understand.
  • to work with management and other team members from various departments throughout the company.
