Responsibilities:
- Provide general paralegal support to attorneys in litigation practice
- Draft legal documents, reports, summaries and correspondence
- Draft pleadings, including answers, motions, notices, orders, calendar requests, subpoenas, affidavits, and other court filings;
- eFiling with various courts
- Prepare for depositions, settlement conferences, motions, trials and hearings
- Liaise with clients, providing updates and gathering information
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, supporting a business litigation practice
- Understanding of legal court rules, deadlines and procedures (state, federal and appellate)
- Proficiency with MS Office package and legal billing software
- Knowledge of eFiling Portals
- Strong project and case management skills
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
