Registered Nurse Field Nurse Case Manager

Works collaboratively with Director and Leadership while also managing a team of direct report employees consisting of a blend of case managers, team leads and Supervisors. Provides ongoing mentorship and fosters professional development of the team in order to meet the needs of clients and based on the company core values and operating systems.
Essential Duties:
- Higher level thinking and responsibility as it relates to company as a whole
- Identify potential in individuals, fostering growth in their career path
- Identify barriers or issues with individuals or processes, develop strategic solutions for resolution that align with company goals
- Implement and evaluate new processes and procedures that help the department achieve their quality improvement goals
- Able to adapt to the evolution of daily operations, remaining professional and open-minded in situations as they arise
- Proponent of core values and EOS as a framework for all activities
- Is not assigned a caseload and has 0 billable hour expectation
- Manages a team of 6-10 direct reports, ensuring that all expectations of the role are met
- Hiring, training and developing all employees in the department.
- Attends Management meetings and assists in making decisions for the improvement of the operations department
- Provides input to Leadership as it relates to growth and improvement of operations
- Provides mentorship, guidance and support to all direct reports
- Acts as a resource for the team by utilizing nursing knowledge and experience to assist with complex case resolution
- Proactively provides feedback to team members on all case management activity on an ongoing basis
- Prepares for and attends client meeting or claim reviews telephonically or onsite based on need
- Reviews and Analyzes caseloads and daily assignments, assess files to be re- opened for assignment
- Works collaboratively with preceptors on all checkpoints for new case managers
- Approves PTO to ensure appropriate coverage across department at all times
- Ensures team provides backup for themselves for time off or assists in event of emergency
- Utilizes reports to performs audits on quality metrics as it relates to client and company expectations
- Collaborate with other departments for consistency in onboarding of new clients and ensuring success in their program
- Channel questions and issues to appropriate department to ensure they are addressed
- Performs annual reviews of their team
- Assists with implementation and preparation of Performance Improvement Plans as needed for their team members
- Makes final determination as it relates to termination of employees
- Conduct 1:1 quarterly meetings and provide feedback to Leadership as needed
- Learn and embody EOS program and lead level 10 meetings with their team
