This role requires a strong leader with a background in logistics, food safety, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Workflow Management: Oversee and optimize daily operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all processes.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure all products meet company and regulatory standards.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and support the control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements in operations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of control processes with overall operations.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on operational performance, compliance, and inventory accuracy to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Food Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a control or compliance role within a distribution center, preferably in the food and beverage industry.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management and logistics software.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and inspecting inventory.
- Ability to work in varying temperature conditions.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced distribution center environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
