Our client, a leader in the medical manufacturing industry, is looking for a Manufacturing Scientist to join their team

Pay: $25-$34/hour

Shift: M-F 8-5

Job Description:

Operate various fermenters for batching, sterilization, inoculation, monitoring, harvest, and cleaning.
Handle and test bacterial cultures aseptically.
Prepare solutions, including acids and bases.
Purify proteins from bacterial sources using chromatographic techniques.
Operate lab equipment following standard procedures.
Identify and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
Document work accurately with data collection tools.
Collaborate effectively within a team.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Requirements:

BA/BS in Microbiology or related field.
Experience in fermentation and protein purification preferred.
Strong lab skills: pipetting, aseptic technique, biosafety cabinet and fume hood use, spectrophotometric analysis, autoclave operation.
Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally.
Ability to work at a lab bench for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
