Pride Health is hiring a MRI Technologist to support our client's hospital facility in Wyandotte, MI. This is a 13-weeks travel contract role.


Role: Performs imaging procedures in an efficient and safe manner. Customers may include neonate, infants, children, adolescent, adult or geriatric.


Duties:

  • Explain the MRI procedure to patients and address any concerns or questions.
  • Screen patients for any contraindications to MRI, such as metal implants, pacemakers, or other medical devices.
  • Administer contrast agents intravenously, if required, under the direction of a physician.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from potential hazards.
  • Follow all regulations and guidelines set by the healthcare facility and relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Review images for clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic quality.
  • Communicate with radiologists to discuss any anomalies or areas of concern in the images.
  • Maintain detailed records of each imaging session, including patient information and imaging results.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions to contrast agents and provide appropriate care if needed.
  • Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
  • Participate in team meetings and continuing education to stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and best practices.
  • Schedule MRI appointments and manage patient flow.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date, including patient records and equipment maintenance logs.


Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required:

  • Associate’s degree in applied science - Required.
  • Previous MRI Tech experience - Required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography - Required.
  • ARRT registered in MRI - Required.
  • BLS(AHA) certification - Required.


Shift Time: Rotating Shifts, 2-8's and 2-12's per week for 40 hours total.

Location: Wyandotte, MI.

Floating Requirements: NA.

Travel Gross Pay: $2,463.20/Week

Or

Local Pay Range: $50-$55/hour

*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.
