Distribution Manager

Buyers Products company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is searching for a Fulfillment Operations Manager to add to its distribution team.Key Responsibilities:Lead fulfillment operations across multiple shifts, including picking, packing, shipping, and stagingEnsure staffing levels, training, and workflows align with service levels and volume requirementsUse operational data and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvementSolve recurring issues through root cause analysis and practical solutionsMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organized work environmentHelp develop and prioritize opportunities to improve processes for associates and customersCollaborate with receiving, inventory, planning, and business intelligence teams to ensure smooth operationCoach and develop supervisors and hourly associates to support team performance and growthBe actively engaged on the warehouse floor; must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and work around powered equipmentRequired Qualifications5–8 years of experience managing fulfillment, distribution, or warehouse operationsProven ability to lead teams in a pick/pack/ship environmentStrong working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)Clear and effective communicator with strong leadership and accountability skillsData-driven and process-oriented; able to manage and act on performance metricsExperience leading multiple shifts or cross-functional teamsAble to work in a fast-paced, physically active environmentPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with warehouse automation and orchestration systemsBackground in continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)Experience with RF systems and inventory controlExposure to multi-site or multi-state operationsComfort working in a BI-supported, metrics-driven cultureEducation Background:Bachelor’s Degree Required in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field or equivalent experience Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Standing, Walking and Sitting for extended period of timesMobility and dexterity to move around operating machinery and powered industrial equipmentAbout Buyers Products CompanyEstablished in 1946, Buyers Products Company has grown to become a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry.
