Administrative Assistant - Membership Services

Our client located in Annapolis, MD has a DIRECT HIRE opportunity for an Administrative Assistant of Membership Services to join their team The organization dedicated to serving its members and advancing their industry. The organization is committed to excellence, integrity, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. We are currently seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join the team. This is a direct hire opportunity, and the role requires 100% on-site presence.

Position Overview:

As an Administrative Assistant for Membership Services, you will provide essential support to our membership department, ensuring the efficient operation of membership processes and delivering exceptional service to our members. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist with membership applications, renewals, and inquiries, ensuring accurate and timely processing.

Maintain membership databases and records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Coordinate member communications through email, phone, and mail, responding to inquiries and providing assistance as needed.

Provide administrative support to the Membership Services team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and managing correspondence.

Assist in the planning and execution of member events and meetings, including logistical coordination and attendee management.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless member experiences and effective communication across the organization.

Perform other administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or related field preferred.

Proven experience in an administrative role, with familiarity in membership services or association management a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with database management software.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous demeanor.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive and proactive attitude.

Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
