The Role:

We are looking for a talented individual who will provide technical support to our customers and assist with the administration and maintenance of our systems. Additionally, the individual will collaborate with the product and engineering teams for the ongoing development and improvement of the Rosterfy product.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide timely technical support to clients for reported issues, queries, and product questions
  • Assist customers with system setup, troubleshooting, and serve as the main contact for support
  • Monitor and ensure system performance, uptime, and security, addressing any issues proactively
  • Collaborate with the product team to produce detailed specifications for system improvements
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
  • Implement and manage security protocols, including SSL and DNS
  • Provide API support and assist with SQL-related queries and troubleshooting
  • Utilise knowledge of HTML and CSS to assist customers, with a favourable understanding of JavaScript or PHP


Required Skills and Experience

  • University degree completed in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • SQL experience, writing efficient and scalable code
  • Familiar with Cloud-based environments, AWS preferred
  • Knowledge of web-based development; Javascript, React, Vue, etc.
  • Knowledge of best practices for cyber security and common concepts like SSL and DNS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiar with API integration tools such as Postman, REST API, and OAuth
  • The ability to work well under pressure with a self-starter attitude, able to take initiative
  • Strong sense of ownership, as well as communication and time management skills
  • Solid Excel skills


Nice to have

  • Experience in PHP, Symfony, or Laravel will be looked upon favourably (our tech stack), as well as working with APIs and integrations and cloud-based platforms
  • AWS certification of an associate or professional level will help you succeed in this role
  • Familiar with Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and Terraform
  • Professional experience, particularly in a SaaS and/or tech startup environment (whether as a Software Developer or not) will be looked upon favourably
  • Node.js or other JavaScript experience
  • Optional: French or Spanish language experience with customers in Mexico and Canada
