Jacobs PMCM team is looking for an experienced and driven client-focused Project Manager. In this role, you'll manage the administration of the project for the owner and be responsible to oversee the planning, design, and construction through the project's completion and closeout. This position will provide supervision and oversight for the project team, is client facing and will be the direct contact to the owner.Responsibilities include:Responsible for overall project delivery (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts) on multiple project assignmentsManage project development from conception through completion (both large and small) in accordance with program objectivesManage all budgets, schedules, scope development, design and construction contracts, documents, procedures, and controls for assigned projectsManage the review and approval process for consultant invoices and contractor pay applications and change orders and coordinate with Control Manager for proper posting in reporting programAttend assigned meetings to cover weekly job progress meetings; issues meeting minutes during designResolve complex design and construction related issues, disputes, and disagreementsReview status of projects and monitor variances of the design and construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reportingProvide oversight of one or more Project Management teamsProvide support and assistance to the Deputy Program ManagerProactive, detailed, and consistent communication with the clientQualifications:Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture (consideration will be given to individuals with other degrees combined with construction management experience)Minimum of 7 years' experience as a Project Manager in an Owner, Architecture, Engineering, Environmental or Construction organizationProject Management experience must include direct oversight of Consultants and ContractorsExperience on large expansions and/or new construction during both design and construction phases for projects valued over $1200 Million and at least 250,000 GSFRecommended Certifications: Certified General Contractor registered with the State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, or a Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or a Project Management Professional (PMP, PgMP, or PfMP), CEI related certificationsStrong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship buildingJacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
