Key Responsibilities


  • Assist the project manager and other senior individuals in all phases of projects
  • Assist with the development and production of projects from initial concept through construction administration
  • Design and create technical documents in Bentley's MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer software.
  • Serve as a technical expert for the design effort for roadway and trail systems including: Geometry, vertical alignments, super elevation, cross sections, traffic management, and signage & pavement marking plans
  • Remain current with Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Lead in the training and development of junior staff members.


Preferred Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience within the roadway/highway/transportation design engineering field.
  • Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers in transportation.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • In possession or pursuit of PE.
  • Experience in AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
  • Experience with OpenRoads
  • Have a passion for collaboration throughout the design and execution of projects.
