We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced R&D IT Project Manager to lead SGQO projects focusing on system enhancements, AI automation for Quality, and Clinical Portfolio & Analytics Operations. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of project management experience within the IT sector, particularly in a matrixed organization, to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with high-quality outcomes. This role is pivotal in driving the delivery and quality of projects, managing internal and external resources, and maintaining direct relationships with various business and IT groups.
Key Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Waterfall and Agile)
- Experience with project management tools (MS Project, JIRA)
- Knowledge of GxP-regulated system projects
- Familiarity with business process improvement, change management, and system enhancements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, manage, and ensure the predictable delivery of projects, focusing on time, budget, and resource allocation.
- Drive delivery and accountability of internal staff, vendors, contracted resources, and third-party project managers, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
- Anticipate, escalate, and aid in the resolution of risks and issues that impact project success.
- Prioritize tasks effectively for self and team, clearly articulating project critical paths.
- Communicate project status comprehensively to leadership through both verbal and written means.
- Ensure projects are delivered according to committed scope, approved budget, and target dates, adhering to agreed cadence and methodology.

Required Certifications/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Agile or Scrum certification (advantageous)
Additional Requirements:
- 10+ years of project management experience, including budget accountability
- 8+ years of experience as an IT professional
- Experience in leading daily stand-ups and cross-functional meetings
- Experience working with third-party vendor management
