Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a STEM field of study required, or 3 years of same work experience.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products, Excel, Word, PP, and similar applications, with experience using complex spreadsheets (MS Office Products).
  • PLC Programmer/Robotics Cell Designer/Materials Handler Solutions Designer DFT/Mfg. Platforms Development.
  • Experience of Engineering Change Process, Change Management, and Part Structuring in BOMs.
  • 1-3 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated positive work record, including indications of strong self-motivation, high productivity, reliable attendance, attention to quality, ability to learn new skills, and a cordial, cooperative personality.
  • Excellent communication skills are a requirement. Face to Face, telephone, and in writing communication skill are essential for success in this position. Demonstrated excellent skills in organizing and prioritizing work in a rapidly changing working environment.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)


Assess process requirements, design and set-up production infrastructure, production platforms and process flow set-ups, using Demand Flow Methodology. Accountable for Change Order Management to include:

  • Assess, document, and communicate all production floor and/or customer driven changes.
  • Coordinate ECN phase in/out process.
  • Coordinate ECN/ECO Documentation
  • Control Manufacturing Change Notice Documentation
  • Update all applicable work instructions.

Manage NPI introduction process and production documentation management to include:

  • WO BOM Validation
  • Shop Floor Control System Routing
  • Production flow diagrams, work instructions, pack out instructions, and similar documents.
  • Calculate Task Time, conduct time studies for lines’ Cycle Time and define workforce requirements.


  • Responsible for developing and maintaining written procedures and ensuring all departments adhere to the ECO Process and we are in-line with the ISO 9001-2016 Certification.
  • Organize and handle reporting of information in ERP and to internal/external customers.
  • Process data and reports for the Engineering/Operations team Responsible for written developing and maintaining written procedures and ensuring all departments adhere to the ECO Process and we are in line with the ISO 9001-2016 Certification.
  • Responsible for reducing or eliminating workplace safety risks and maintain a safe and healthy working environment. Communicate between customers and company engineers regarding daily site ECO operations/status when necessary. Responsible for production training in the areas of W/Is, MPIs, NPIs, KPIs and ECNs, etc.
  • Work with production leaders to ensure processes are being followed. Collaborate with operation leaders to modify and adjust processes accordingly and make all necessary improvements.
  • Perform risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements should be made to keep facility running effectively and efficiently.
  • Lead or Facilitate Continuous Improvement Projects using Lean Mfg. methodologies such as 6S, 6M, 5 Whys, Cause and Effect Diagrams, 8Ds Problem Solving Process.
  • Able to utilize KAIZEN, Six Sigma/DMAIC, A3/3P Projects methodology to implement a wide range of solutions, like capital and continuous improvement projects.
  • Provide project detail status reports to internal core team managers, and when applicable, our customers.
  • Responsible for championing safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment is properly meeting these standards.
  • Supports maintenance in the development of the TPM program, outlining equipment and people requirements for daily, weekly, monthly PMs, for operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Experienced analytical person, capable of working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors and interacting with leadership on matters concerning multiple functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Lead/facilitate the completion of projects and conduct technical tasks and/or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others.
